— WHY THE GATHERING HEAD

Key advantages

Speed

Ten-Minute Attachment

Hooks on the gathering head mate with locking pins on the shuttle car, and hydraulic quick connects supply the power. No tools, no separate crew.

Control

Full Joystick Integration

Elevating jacks, gathering wheels, conveyor speed, and loading apron angle all run from the operator's joystick. The full loading cycle is managed from the cab.

Loading

Dual Star Wheel CLAs

Two 30 HP star wheel motors operate in parallel, delivering variable loading speed up to 50 RPM with hydraulic pressure up to 4,000 PSI.

Visibility

Camera-Assisted Loading

Closed-circuit low-light cameras on the shuttle car can be positioned to let the operator monitor material loading in real time.

— Engineered From the Ground Up

Built for the 8TD24, configurable for more

The Gathering Head Attachment was engineered alongside the 8TD24 Mid-Engine Shuttle Car, which was purpose-built for belt cleanup and rehabilitation with self-loading capability. If you have an existing AMAC shuttle car and want to add self-loading capability, our engineering team can walk you through retrofit options for your specific configuration.

Service from the people who built it

AMAC engineers, builds, and services the Gathering Head in-house. Repair, rebuild, parts, and maintenance are handled directly by the team that designed the attachment, quickly and with clear communication. From a worn component to a full rebuild, you are working with the people who built it.
